Like many physicians in town, Dr. Fred Dotterwick was involved in various companies and business ventures. Past owners, James and Angela Messner, sold the Dotterwick House to Ashland University. The university uses the home for student housing and has placed a sign with Miller House outside the home for some donors to Ashland University.
