One of the founders of the Home Company and also president of the Mohican Rubber Co. From 1919 until his death in 1950, this home was built for Emery Brown and his family. Currently the Brown House is divided into five apartments. Former owner Michael Brucato sold the home to Ashland University. The university uses the home for student housing and has placed a sign with China House outside the home for some donors to Ashland University.
